Shoshanna Lee

Founded in 2010 by California native and current Chicago resident Sandee Zahn, Shoshanna Lee Jewelry is making its mark on the fashion scene.  Shoshanna Lee Jewelry has already developed a deep celebrity client base, featured in a TV series and continues to secure accounts at select boutiques across the country and internationally. Shoshanna Lee’s designs contrast precious and primitive, reflecting the dichotomy and duality that exists in us all.

Sandee started her career performing as a Raiderette for the Los Angeles Raiders. In the early 1980’s Sandee entered the fashion industry working for top modeling agencies in Los Angeles. Recruited by Elite, Sandee moved to Chicago where she married and raised two children. For the last 30 years Sandee has been exploring the primitive nature of human behavior and the inner-self. This exploration has been fundamental to her creative process. She finds inspiration from the precious stones she personally hand picks and uses it as a basis for her designs.

Precious and Primitive Designs

The meeting was pure happen chance, an artist from Maui and a jewelry designer from Chicago.  In an instant the chemistry was apparent.  Each complemented the other and both were looking to create in textiles.   Stephanie Sachs, a well-known artist in Maui and on the mainland of the United States, uses bold and vibrant colors in her designs with deep space and distant horizons.  Stephanie was transitioning her designs into a new resort collection line.  Sandee Zahn, an international designer of jewelry, who finds her inspiration in the contrast between precious and primitive, reflecting the dichotomy and duality that exists in us all, was looking to establish a new line of scarves.  Their collaboration began.  With Stephanie’s artistic talent and Sandee’s design ideas a trend setting collection of scarves were crafted.  The combination of precious and primitive with deep space and exceptional colors found the thread that magically pulled them together.
